Was all this working fine until one day you discovered dead batteries, which you've now replaced multiple times? Just trying to put together what might have changed /failed to start you down this road.

If completely dead, connect to a charged battery for 30 minutes via jumper cables attaching the Dead batteries first then the good one. Then attach a slow 2 amp charge for 5-6 hours. They should come back.

I need to replace my Damon Daybreak 06 house batteries. I have 2 x 12V deep cycle batteries and was suggested by RV tech to replace them with 6V's after having issues with the retraction on the leveling system on uneven ground.
What do you think?

I don't think the type of batteries had anything to do with jack retraction.

One system run a pump to pick them up, not a tough job, and the other system simply opens a valve and lets springs pick them up.

As far as capacity, 2, 6 volt deep cycle batteries will almost always give you more capacity, and life, then 2 same size 12 volt ones.

Like TwinBoat I'm not getting the connection (no pun) between the batteries and levelers, besides the obvious. If your batteries are inadequate, you likely have other problems besides that. Levelers can stick, or have solenoid or valving problems, depending on brand and model. And yes they need good battery power. I prefer the capacity of the 6vs myself.

How is our OP doing sorting his battery issues? Inquiring minds want to know!

I think the OPs thread has now been hijacked.
