Coach.net Extended Warranty

Well I just discovered something REALLY interesting today !!!!

When I purchased my rig in 2011, I bought the Coach.net extended warranty and paid for 5 yrs worth of coverage... This coverage expires 9/8 of this year... I called today to see about buying additional yrs of coverage and was told "It's not available"

I asked why??? Was told it's just not available... I asked if it was due to the age of the coach (2008) or to the mileage (44K)... Again I was told "I couldn't buy it" In addition, she became very rude... I thanked her and hung up.

I called the RV dealer where I purchased the coach and the coverage and when I mentioned Coach.net he said "Oh yeah - they're going belly up!!!" He told me that they had started "excluding" more things than they were covering while raising their rates... Said they are selling under a different name now but this dealer said they no longer worked with them because of extreme customer dissatisfaction....

So I guess I'll need to look elsewhere for coverage in September.... Dealer offered one for three yrs for $7,400.00!!!!! Passed on that one....

it isn't the age of the coach but the age of the tires imho. you haven't said if the tires have been replaced. if you expect a insurance company to run out a tow truck to a motor home you bought in 2011 that was 3 years old at the time of sale and you have had always kept a insurance policy on for a original blown tire is unrealistic.

I must be missing something, I believe the OP was talking about a "Service" plan, not a tire plan.

Our 10yr old coach has a CoachNet Roadside Assistance Plan, something entirely different.

Just for what it's worth, have you ever heard a dealer make a positive statement about a product they don't carry?

Starlost...

Say What ???? Not sure how tires became the issue but just so it'll make you feel better I put brand new Michelins on 13 months ago that only have 4,100 miles on them....

Now my original post was about how Coach.net won't write new policies because they're in major trouble - but rep failed to tell me that they weren't writing policies period....

I simply want to find a policy that I can go year-to-year with... Not paying Omer $7K for a three yr one....

I believe Good Sam writes year-to-year contracts: Good Sam Club
I would also suggest contacting Wholesale Warranties: RV Extended Warranty Coverage, RV Warranty Specialists - Wholesale Warranties for RV Repair

I don't see much about RV Protect before 2013 on Coach Net's website. I wasn't aware they offered it in 2011.

Jus spoke with Ms. Garfield Fabricus @ Coach-Net to find out current status. They are still alive and well. You may wish to contact her direct @1-972-993-8416 and discuss.

Coach-Net was not selling service policies in 2011!!!

That's what I thought too and why I questioned it!

Ext. Warranty

If you are shopping for coverage, I just recently purchased a $100 deductible policy from Wholesale Warranty after reading good things about them here on the forum. I bought 5 year coverage for $3950 for our 2014 Winnebago Sunstar.

It seemed like an okay deal to me and their rep, Shnnon, was super easy to work with. Good luck!
