Trucker Path and also the apps for the various truck stops and Gasbuddy all serve to help you with your decisions. Personally, I do prefer to use the stations geared to large vehicles, not only due to easy egress, but also due to the larger hoses and nozzles allowing me to fill my 150 gallon tank a bit faster. Additionally, they have all the common components you might need for your truck engine such as DEF, diesel additive, etc. I've had some informative conversations with the drivers at these places also, they tend to know the area much better than I.

Just started adventure. Previously had class c and class a pulling 20 ski boat. Now have 39ft diesel pusher cat engine love it. Tow a scion xb on tow dolly.10mins to unload it load very easy. Easier to drive larger as frieghtliner chassis is excellent on the road.

I'm sure there are some good smartphone apps...
I've tried the larger volume hoses and most times it just turns into a nasty mess on the ground. My coach just doesn't like fuel fills on the large Truck stop hoses. It takes a little extra time but, I can usually get my coach filled to the top of the filler neck with the smaller hoses with minimal to no over flows! I'm usually not in a hurry when I'm traveling anyway.

On-the-other hand, Truck stops definitely take all of the guesswork out of your travel stops!
