Coachmen Mirada Coach Batteries

2004 Coachmen Mirada 30QB. In replacing the 2 coach batteries under the steps, I have not been able to find batteries that will physically fit in the battery box, as the current battery part number is no longer listed.

Our current coach batteries are: Interstate Extreme Deep Cycle 6C2-XHD-UTL 122 min @ 75 amps Ah232. 10" long x 7" wide x 8" deep. The 8" is the problem. Our battery box is exactly 10" deep and the GC2 batteries on the Interstate website are 11" tall - the steps would not close.

I have checked with Coachmen who punted, suggesting I cut and reweld the steps.

The entry level (210 amp hr. @ 20 minutes) 6 volt GC battery is 10" tall 10.5" long and 7" wide. The 11" tall battery is more amp hrs. Sam's Club and Costco have the best prices on the 10" tall battery.
