Cold Winter Storage

I will be storing our MH on Long Island,NY and no cover because years back
the covers would get ripped and pretty much destroyed do to the open Farm land it will be sitting next to but any way.
What is better cover the windows inside with aluminum type insulation sheets or
let the windows clear and allow the sun shine in.
I rather put the insulation sheets on inside blocking the sun light but wife thinks
let the sun in to warm up the motor home.

JMHO: 6 of one and a half dozen of the other . Insulated the interior level would stay frozen , allowed to warm up with the sun , interior humidity could go up if temps come up above freezing .
Before I retired , and now travel to warmer areas for the winter , I'd close all the blinds and curtains , and leave the RV frozen up till spring.
Chemical de-humidifier checked, ( drained and refilled ) every week to 10 days.

If the motorhome is un-heated inside it won't make any difference. RV's are poorly insulated to begin with so during the day the sun will warm it up inside and at night it will get as cold as the outside temps. I park mine with the shades down to prevent sun fade inside and that's all.

Thats what I do. As well as the chemical moisture removal. Open one up and let it sit and dump the water in the spring.
