Comparablity of Leveling Jacks

I have a 34 ft 2007 Holiday Rambler diesel pusher. One of my hydraulic leveling jacks has a deep scratch in it and needs to be replaced. My question is about the comparability of Power Gear leveling Jacks. My current jacks are rated at 9K. Could I replace one my current jacks with another Power Level jack rated at 12K. It's a 3 jack system so during the leveling process each jack is adjusted individually. The sizes of the 9K and possible 12K replacement are virtually identical. Logically I can see no problem can does anyone have any experience or knowledge they can share? Thanks

Mounting would be important along with spring type, internal or external. But also consider cylinder diameter and shaft length.

When I overhauled and made new parts for my "obsolete" jack, I came across this file. It includes a lot of info, including diameters, lengths, etc.

A slightly larger diameter will give more lifting capability. Be cautions of longer shafts, you don't want to run the jacks out to their end stops and have one jack a couple inches higher than the other.

If you have two jacks in the back and one jack in the front, If you're replacing the front jack, a longer shaft really shouldn't be significant.

Why do it?

When we bought this coach one of the jack legs had a series of scratches and scrapes on the chrome part. They were so bad it leaked like a sieve, so I bought a new leg for ($800+-). When our friendly UPS driver delivered it, he asked me why I didn't take the old jack to a hydraulic shop to be rebuilt. I showed him the scratches and he said "Shoot, that's nothing. There is a shop in town that will repair and then re chrome the stem to like new condition." I told him "NOW YOU TELL ME!"
