Compartment floor cutout for shore power cord

I've googled this every way I can think of, but can't find it so I'm here for help. My shore power cord is currently routed through a hole in the compartment floor. I would rather route it through a notch at the side of the compartment floor as shown in the pic. Is there a part for this or is it a matter of just cutting a notch and getting some weather stripping? Thanks

The image looks as if there's a roller there for the cord to run on. You could do it as you suggest, but the stripping would likely wear quickly and pulling the cord and retriveing it through weather stripping would be more difficult. You should be able to affix a roller somehow.

Little different, but here's what Winnebago uses:

Thanks Carl and Jim for the responses, but not really what I'm looking for. I've seen this cutout setup on several higher end coaches and it's not a roller system or hatch. You pull the shore power cord through the open bay door and then simply push the cord into the notch and close the bay door. The weatherstripping provides a tight seal.

I'm going to install a Shoreline power reel and this setup will be easier than fishing the power cord through the floor hole.

Our '04 Newmar MADP has exactly what you are looking for. Maybe contact them and see if that part is still available.
