Connecticut area Class A service

I am looking for a service facility in Central or western CT doe our American Coach. The chassis part we are all set with 5 star fire but we would like to find someone who has excellent service for items like slide out adjustment and other maintenance and repair items.

We have used Hemlock hill in the past but have had issues with getting our coach back in a timely manner and also my confidence is slipping on their ability to do quality work on motorhomes. I think they are focused more on trailers.

Any feedback would be great, I do see a place called Dave's RV but have no good or bad reviews to compare.

I've worked with CT Motor Cars, they're a Tiffin authorized repair center but they do other RV's for sure. Check out RV Service Reviews for other references.

I called them about working on my Newmar and they refused. I now use R & R General Repair in Canterbury, CT.

Don't under any circumstance go to Gabrielli behind Piolit and Secondi truck stops in Milford off I95 exit 40 Old Gate Lane.

What I need for now is to have my slide puts adjusted. They seem to go out too aggressively and will need a technical guy to diagnose the cause.

How confident would you be with them to do this?

What work did you want done? I take chassis work to 5 star fire in Hartford. It's the Coach work I need a good place for.

Being an authorized Tiffin service center, they must have someone skilled in that area. Whether that skill transfers to Newmar slides, I couldn't say, but the service manager is easy to talk to, discuss what your needs are, etc.

I went there (by car) initially to scope things out and decide whether I wanted them to do body work from an accident (someone ran into my front quarter). That involved working w/my insurance company, dealing with body repair, replacing the side camera, etc. Plus obviously paint and all. IMO these guys did excellent work. The paint matches perfectly, all repairs were done as expected, etc. The only issue I had with them was time to get it all done but that could've been due to them being busy (it was during the busy season). Very nice place in terms of in/out, lots of bays.

I would totally go back there again if I needed similar work or other "house" related work. They'll do oil changes/generator service but to me, I'd rather go to Five Star or someone like that for chassis work. Much more thorough since that's their specialty.

I'd suggest talking to the service guy and ask if they're capable of working on Newmar slides. If he says yes, I'd go for it.

I have a gas coach and have had both chassis and house work done. It is a father and son. The son does chassis, the father works on the "house". They are the only place that I could find that would fix my propane tank leak. Not sure on slides, but call and ask for Roger Senior. When I spoke to him about my propane issue, he nailed the issues over the phone. You would be amazed at some of the stupid responses I got when I called other facilities, including propane companies. They are the only ones I trust with my coach.
