I agree what you’re saying, but because of the way I read it I assumed he sent them to him via mail, just depends on how you read it I guess.
I’m not trying to be difficult but you’re key words in your post was “I thought the same thing” but you didn’t reply with a “to bad to sad, get over it” reply either.
That just sometimes bugs the crap out of me when people are smart azzas when someone is asking for help.

My thought was NOT that is was just some manuals
My thought was they were just COPIES of some manuals...so what.

It wasn't until later that OP clarified he sent His Originals.
That was a mistake.......

OP seems to have a solution. Hopefully he gets then back w/o having to make a 900 mile trip.

Sorry to hear this "busyguy", I have had similar things happen to me but at the same time two of my closest friends are guys that I met on a car forum over 15 years ago and helped out. So I still have faith in people and take small risks, not like lending a 20,000. trailer to someone I hadn't met in person like I did back then.
Be careful about what you say on here as well, like going to his house. He is probably reading the forum still to see what's happening.

Latest update
Just talked to the poster's father and he is going to call her and request she send the package back. Seemed like a really nice person and said the family I sent the package too work from early am to late pm. So they may just be to busy to answer my emails. Any way I think they are honest people who are just as busy as I was when I was working. Glad that era is behind me.
Again thanks for all your support and guidance in this matter. Will keep you informed of the outcome.
A hard Lesson learned!

There are still good people out there. You proved that yourself! Hopefully it was a misunderstanding and we will say a few prayers that all works out. Please don't lose your faith in humanity quite yet! Thank you for helping out someone who needed it!

I finally made contact with the posters husband and had a long conversation with him. Super nice guy and he said didn't know why my emails were not being answered.
Anyway, I was glad to talk to him and I will try to help him as much as I can as he is working on his coach.
Thanks again for all your input and advice. It is what this forum is all about.
Oh, if you need my manuals I will not be sending the originals!

Just to keep you all updated, I received my manuals back today along with a nice thank you note from DonnellR.
Very happy to have them back and also happy that I have made some new friends that I can help along the way.
I don't know why there was a lack of communication, But happy it ended it such a nice way.
Thanks to all for your comments and support.
