Control Switches

Need help with where to get replacement contact switches for my 2005 American Eagle. I am noticing lately that they are becoming more sensitive to the touch as to where you put pressure on the button. For instance when I’m moving my slides out, if I breath wrong the slide stops and then I must reposition my finger on the button once more and try to activate the slide. I’m afraid that these control buttons are going to give out at the most critical time in getting ready to leave the camp ground.

I guess it depends if those are just switches or if there is a circuit board with other controls there.

If they are just momentary switches, a pair of rocker switches could be wired to accomplish the same.

Control Switches

I believe they maybe contact switch for a control board. I haven’t tried to take the cover off to confirm, I have tried to snap it off but reluctant if I brake it then I have another search on my list.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Those are digital switches that send an ID to the multiplex switch controller under the bed. Both the multiplexor and the switches are made by American Technology Components and their customer service is great. I might add that American technologies is not related to American Coach or Rev Group, despite the similar name.

Contact them and they can supply new switches and they also repair the controller circuit boards.

Control Switches

Thanks Gary, I thought they were a contact type switch. This is great news!
