So true..... my favorite nights already are the one where the boys can't even stay awake through story time.

IMO the extra couple feet will not be an issue driving. May take a slight bit more care when parking or turning but not significant enough to be a serious factor.

The little bit of extra effort to learn to drive a slightly longer coach will be easily offset by a more comfortable floor plan that you and the family can fully enjoy.

You have to take care and "get out and look" no matter what size of unit you drive.
total agree here...once you get to 30' might as well go 36'

Our main goal is to be able to get into national parks which means we can go up to 38 feet!

You can actually go up to 40'. We used many national parks with ours.

40' plus our Jeep - many sites had room left over. Many people say you can't do it but we were very successful. No, you won't fit in every site but then, neither will a 30'. We've stayed in Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, Zion, Bryce and others - state parks and national forest service campgrounds, too. There are also many awesome county and city parks in the country. We traveled in the mountains often and also on secondary roads. We really dislike interstates. We also boondocked up to 20 miles from pavement. Those that say you can't do it most likely have never tried. We purposely ordered ours with only two slides and both on the same side so we wouldn't have to deal with fitting inbetween trees on both sides.

Great insight! I would have never thought about that. We will be following in your footsteps soon.
