I recently changed my coolant and coolant filter. Like Post #6, FL was adamant about not using ELC...there is no real value anyway, they said both should be changed at five years or 100k. You might look around for a coolant filter. FL said there was not one, but they didn't know that DD put one on.

Re the trans oil. According to Allison, if it is chemically tested annually and comes back good it's good.

So, why change at 5 years unless contaminated [$$$$$]?????
and, why flush if you are not changing coolant types [if otherwise compatible]?
Also for DIYers:
a- proper disposal of coolant [12+ gal] is a challenge
b- disposal of another 12 to 20 gals of flush water is a bigger challenge

So OAT, non-OAT, green, red, blue--they all cant be "compatible?????
I had the coolant flushed/replaced at Cummins couple months ago on my ISL 400 and they used Fleetguard ES Compleat OAT. It was not cheap but I wanted it to get done right.
Due to the social distancing, I was not able to talk to anybody. I just dropped off the bus with the keys in and again picked it up with the keys in. I have to call back later if the filter replacements need to follow the Owner's Manual specified Fleetguard WF2071 with the Chemical Additive DCA4+.

Coolant Filter

If you change over to Fleetguard Complete Oat you use a blank filter, WF2077, no precharge. Anyone wanting to make this change search for Brett Wolfe’s post about a step by step process.
