Cooling down bedroom for sleeping

Wanted to share something we discovered that works well for us assuming it's cooler outside than inside. We typically don't like running the air conditioner plus we dry camp a lot.

We have the two typical small windows on each side of the bed in our bedroom slide but they don't provide much cross breeze. We knew if we turn on the bathroom fantastic fan it helps greatly to pull the cool air in. What we didn't realize is if we close all other windows in the coach, it dramatically improved the bedroom air flow in the bedroom for sleeping. This may not be everyone's cup of tea but we really like a cool breeze on our faces as we sleep. With the fantastic vent set on temperature it gradually slows down as it gets cooler and stops sometime in the night.

I think we're stuck with the air conditioner for those nights that don't cool down!

Our solution was to purchase this window fan from Costco for $40. It is temp controlled and a in, out and air exchange mode where one fan pulls air in and the other fan exhausts air out.

We discovered some years ago on our class B we had at the time that opening all the windows actually resulted in less air flow if there was no wind. The "sweet spot" for that unit was each side window in the bedroom open about 1-2". Experiment and you will find your sweet spot.

We just had awnings put on above our windows so we can have them open regardless of weather. We already have hoods over both ceiling fans.
