Couch problem

We have a 36J Fleetwood Discovery 2011, purchased Jan 2012. The couch behind the driver's seat, sits out about 6" from the wall. I have found other coaches for sale that show the couch sits against the wall. Does anyone have information on this?

Does your sofa fold out as a bed? If so, how close is the bed to the wall then? If it is still 6" away from the wall, there's no reason you can't move it.

Our original couch was about 4" out from the wall. When I installed a new couch, I bolted it in so that when it was opened up to be a bed, it actually lightly touches the wall. When it is closed back up into a sofa, the back of the sofa is about 1/2" from the wall.

Usually the couch folds out to a queen size bed and when folded out it will then nearly touch the wall.
When closed it is as you describe.
