I always felt the second year of the Islander (Year one was a bit too low to the ground on the front, so some had road rashes from dips in the road,) was a great bang for the buck. CC Chassis, and National did a good job on their house parts. No, not to the CC level of detail and content material, but towards the top of the normal brands of Class A's of the era from say Winnie, Fleetwood, Tiffen, Etc. National put a bit of extra effort in this coach, as it was for that time their flagship model.

Opinions will vary!
