Is the problem a broken handle or just does not light up.

The latter (no light) I fix with parts from Radio Shack.

I have a intruder that the handle light most of the time does not work, then sometimes it just turns on maybe after the door is shut hard.

Did you have similar problem? What did you replace? BTW how do you turn it on and off?
