Creaking Behind Dash

I get this creeking noise behind the dash on my '98 HR Endeavor. It only happens when I'm following a tractor trailer, box truck, or something similar that disrupts the airflow meeting the front of the coach. We have a generator that is not on a slide so I have that hood thing that provides access to the generator controls and back of the firewall. My suspicion is that this is flexing and rubbing against the fiberglass front is causing the noise. I was thinking of finding some weatherstripping that would go on the edge of the hood to run interference with the fiberglass might help.

Anyone else have experience with this issue diagnosis and resolution?

Sounds like you are on the right track. Look for rub spots all around the edges of the access cover. Maybe just needs a little adjustment of the hinges or latches.
