Crisis Averted! Thank You RV Geeks!

Yesterday, my wife was doing dishes and complaining that the hot water was basically luke warm(it' usually scalding hot). I did hear the gas heater kicking on so I wasn't worried and forgot about this. This morning, I remembered and put the hot water on, luke warm. I checked the wires, propane, everything. Went on line and saw a video that showed you how to clean your water heater and do maintenance on electric and gas. I switched to electric, same thing, luke warm. I, googled again and got another video this time from our friends at RV Geeks(this guy has turned into my RV Yoda) and he had one on Rookie Mistakes and in it he told a similar story that no matter electric or gas his water wan't heating up. He went to an RV repair shop and they told him the problem. His outside water faucet/shower was on with hot and cold water turned on, only the shower nozzle was turned off. Turned them off and voila, hot water. So, I checked, mine were on too, turned them off and voila, hot water. Here is the video. I recommend everyone watch it:

I made the mistake ; before the internet existed ; and had to figure it out for myself .
So , now , it's the first thing I tell RVers to check when the lukewarm water complaint starts.

Yep, been there - done that. I was using the outside shower to trouble shoot and realized that it was the problem.
