Do you have a VIP smartwheel?? (the fancy wheel with all the buttons).
If so the cruise is controlled by the Smartwheel controller.
I checked my fuses and do not have one specifically for cruise control BUT there is some circuits that interact with the smartwheel system. The brake circuit is what sends a signal to the smartwheel controller for cruise cancel so check any fuse that has something to do with the brake. The engine brake also interacts with the cruise, it won't come on if cruise is on, I have to tap my brakes to get cancel cruise before Pacbrake comes on.

On my HR, the cruise won't engage if the engine brake is on.

I have found that with Diesel Pushers the cruise control (CC) is function of the engine (CAT or Cummings) ECM. The CC on my CAT quit working and there was no “Fuse” because the CC is a function of the ECM. The “brake light” switches are operated by the air brakes pressures and not switch a on the “brake pedal” like a car. The CC pressure switch is a “Normally Closed” switch that opens when the pressure is above 3PSI. So the CC brake input was grounded until the brake pressure exceeded 3PSI then CC dropped out.
While troubleshooting my problem I found the fast idle did not work. After reviewing the schematics and tracing the wire colors/strip I was able to find the correct pressure switch. There were three “Brake” pressure switches on panel in the front run bay. I was able separate the CC switch from the brake light switches. I found the CC switch contacts were open with no brake pressure and did not change state when the brakes were applied. I jumpered across the CC pressure switch contacts and the fast idle worked. Took a test drive and the CC was working.
If all the other Smart Wheel function work I would check the CC pressure switch. Not sure about the Engine brake, as my CAT JAKE Brake does not effect the CC function. It could also be a function of ECM programming. Did the Engine brake effect the CC before it quit working?

On my HR endevor cruse will work with engine brake set on. But as soon as it engages it will turn off the same as applying the air brakes.

Don't feel stupid. It is only dumb if you do it again.

If I were paid $1 for every stupid thing I did I'd be richer then I am now.
Glad you got it fixed.
