I can confirm that it works with the QD 7500. Installed it this morning and everything appears to be working as designed.
Very glad I did not pull the trigger on any of the other aftermarket AGS systems on the market.

Would you mind doing a review on install and operation? Pictures and videos would be amazing. Who did you buy the unit from?
Thanks!

I am curious about this new unit. the old 30W would start up on loss of shore power when in auto mode. Does this unit have that capability or only when the inside temperature gets too hot?

I think it will only start based on low battery or high coach temperature.

This is actually a great product for those with dogs and for those who worry about power outages at their storage space.

I just ordered mine directly from Cummins. They had the lowest price and free shipping.
I haven’t received it yet but am looking forward to it. Seems like a great system.

When using traditional lead-acid batteries, What is the best voltage to set AGS for in case of loss of shore power? I leave my residential fridge running since we average using it once a month. Rig is parked in my driveway and plugged in to 25 amp service. Lost power a couple times last year and batteries suffered. AGS was not on… my bad. Still learning. Thanks.

The tricky part is WHERE is the voltage being measured. Measuring from wires inside the coach gives different voltage from that measured directly at the batteries. You will need to determine that by experimentation. I have had to adjust my AGS start voltage lower several times (by 0.1 volt increments) because the generator started too soon. I have mine set at 11.9 knowing that at the batteries it actually measures higher than that.

I guess my next question is at what voltage have I gone too low that it’s going to hurt the batteries. We are dry camping on the beach this weekend so I will get to play with the AGS some.

Want to get the new AGS+ for my motor home BUT Cummings website says "not compatible with lithium batteries. I sent Cummings a request as to why? My response
Steve,
We don't have an explanation why the AGS+ is not compatible with lithium batteries only that it isn't.
Anyone using it with lithium????

We have this on our QD8000 and love it. So much better than the Magnum system we were using.

My guess is flat continuous output of LIFEPO4 batts until low . By the time voltage starts to drop they are getting pretty low SOC wise. Lead batteries are a steady drop in voltage. Dozens of charts online to see the difference.
