Custom mats

Any input on a place to get custom carpet mats for the 2 capt chairs up front and entry way for our 2019 Newmar Dutch Star 4369. Newmar wants almost 600 dollars for the custom fit one. Im sure a carpet place could measure and do all that stuff but just looking for a place that had them and less than 500. thanks.....

Try Wade RV. They specialize in top quality RV accessories and have patterns for most RVs. But good quality mats are expensive - plain old carpet won't last, let alone stay looking good.

We had ours made. I cut out cardboard templates for one on the driver's side, a triangular shaped one for the top of the entry stairs and two rectangular ones for the two steps.

We bought a remnant we liked and had the carpet company add rubber backing and trim the edges. They're now going on six years and still look great. I stick them in the washing machine on gentle wash once a year. Easy to shake out between washings.

I like the cockpit carpet that Newmar sells, but the point of us buying coach with tile floors was to not deal with carpeting. That cockpit carpet is huge and is like having a carpeted front end.

This could be an opportunity for Weather Tech.

I'd measure the sizes you need, go to Home Depot and get the color, base etc. desired & cut them to fit.
This would cost you a tiny fraction of Newmar price.
I doubt anybody would even look/ask about them but if they do, you can say that they were custom made for your coach.

Do a search on how to make a template for installing linoleum. Not rocket science but there are some tricks. Make a template and take it to a carpet store and get prices for what you want.

This is what I did.The carpet store can have the edges bound so the carpet won't unravel.
For the mat at the top of the steps, a carpet store will have "samples" of carpets that are just about the right size. I bought a couple of them for a buck a piece
