Dash A/C - Heater control poblem

I have a 2000 Monaco Knight that has had an issue for a long time. The heater/ AC would only supply air flow to the defroster vents. This is the default when the control on the dash will not activate the vacuum switches on the box. The system is an Evans Tempcon. In my case, the vacuum supply was not there. The coach is built with a Venturi vacuum generator that operates from the air system. I checking with the Evans people, they do not supply this part. The parts people in Central Point OR. who sells Evans parts said the Venturi generators just did not work well, and they now sell a real pump that supplies a constant supply of vacuum. The pump is a Napa 600-2973. This a a replacement part for a Ford. I purchased one for abt $100, and installed it. Now have plenty of vacuum to control the AC / Heater. BTW, the pump comes without a connector, as it is intended to replace a non working one on a Ford, using the existing connector on the harness. There are two small pins that power and ground need to be connected to. Either small female connectors or just solder the wires to the pins will work.
