Technically speaking, when I get hot I turn on the first a/c I can reach. If that does not do the job, I turn on another one. If that does not do the job, time to stop for some refreshment. Who is kidding who here? Our DW's control that thermostat.

Come To Las Vegas!

For those of you who do not live within driving distance of Las Vegas, those of us who do, never go there in the summer... UNLESS!
Some out of state family members decide to come out and visit and want to go.
We just went 2 weeks ago at the end of July. With dash air and both roof units going full on, we could just keep the interior at 85 degrees midday. That is a little warm. It was 107 outside.
Maggie and LuLu were both panting and we had to put ice cubes in their water bowel. We made it and did not die... so all is well. What choice do you have when it gets THAT hot?
