Dash Air conditioner

2005 Fleetwood Excursion.

I need to find the out where you put freon in. Over 3 years ago we had the same problem with the dash air conditioner not blowing any cold air. Thanks for any help.

By freon, I assume you really mean R-134a refrigerant. The ports are generally found near the evaporator in front, under the windshield. The low-pressure port is a different size than the high-pressure port, to make it simpler. Be aware that adding too much R-134a can reduce cooling almost as much as having too little. It's best to have a complete manifold gauge set to monitor low and high pressures. Ambient temperature is important to know as you determine the proper pressures and also have a thermometer in the output vent on the dash to see cooling improvement.

R134 connections

I don't know if this will help but I have a 2004 Phaeton on Freightliner chassis. I had to call Tiffin to find the low fill port. I was informed to remove the passenger side forward wall by the entryway, then behind that is a roughly 14" x 14" plywood cover held in place by 6 screws. Remove it and look up towards center of coach (Still not easy to reach). Then on mine look down and right to find the High port located on the dryer.
Hope this helps,
Lonnie

No dash air

Ok so I buy 3 cans of refrigerant and put them in as directed. The guage barrely showed any pressure. I turn the ac off with the guage still connected and it shows around 45 psi HELP

When the system is that low on refrigerant, it wouldn't show pressure because your gauge is the suction side (low pressure) of the system. It also shows you have a pretty good leak to be that low. Now you need to wonder if the oil level is also low. That's why I suggested a manifold set of gauges to monitor high and low pressures while filling the system.

I suggest a proper servicing of the system. They'll check oil levels, repair leaks, and install a new dryer before charging the system. To do any less, I'd fear damage to the compressor.
