Dash Lights on Bounder

1987 34S 454 Bounder; After purchasing the RV as used, took it home in daylight then at night I tested head lamp and lights and noticed that dashboard lights, center and A/C, did not light the panel. Opened up the front dash and looked at fuses and saw that there was a 20amp fuse in the instrument fuse location instead of a 5amp, I replaced it. I checked a few of the back panel light bulbs behind instruments and looked good(checked with vol meter too) I did not see burnt wires or hardware. I fiddled with the Headlight switch by pulling slowly and turning right/left then light to see if there was any lighting made from the variable switch, no results. Could there be another Bus or reset for these lights to work? Or is a replacement required of wires, panel bulbs?

You have covered all the basics. Can you hook a 12 volt source into the wiring ahead of the switch and see if the lights come on? Could be the switch.
