Dash toggle switches, no lights

Hi everyone, this is my first post.
I have a 2009 Triple E Commander, that we purchased last fall.
There are 14 control toggle switches on the dash.
I don’t see any lights on any of them, when they are turned on.
Is this correct, or should at least some of them indicate on, with a light.
The other issue I have is with the Flexsteel Captains chairs.
The drivers seat arms work just fine, but on the passenger seat and the cocktail seat, I can’t get one armrest to lift fully up and out of the way.

Ideas, thoughts.

If armrest too low when deployed, maybe damaged from someone sitting on it? Have read many, where GEN Control switch on dash, switch lights when/if GEN comes ONLINE after start?
