Dash vinyl conditioner and cleaning

I have a 2005 workhorse 35U Sun-cruiser that needs a good cleaning and conditioning product for the dash vinyl and faux leather seats. I also have some pet stains on the carpet that need cleaning. Anyone recommend a good product or products, a procedure to clean and recondition?

I would suggest trying 303 because it is not supposed to damage the vinyl. They suggest wiping off the excess after application. I use it but I also resort to old fashioned Armeral if I need to. Either way I suggest using a stiffish brush to apply ti get into the grain and clean out the cracks.

303 is great but it will make your dash very slippery.
Lots of good auto interior leather/faux leather products out there.
Put it on, spread it around with your hand and wipe off the excess.

I use 303 on the dash regularly. Really helps bring back the color. Leather conditioner on the seats if ultra-leather (yes, I know it isn't real leather, but it works on it well).

And good spray carpet cleaner should get rid of the pet stains.

Interior cleaners available in auto parts store, then 303 to maintain.

Pet stains can be tough depending on how bad. Renting an extractor is your best bet - Rug Doctor or equivalent from Ace or Home Depot/Lowes. Pick up a enzyme based pet stain treatment. Biggest mistake is to over-wet which drives the stain deeper. Second biggest mistake is too much soap.

It may not matter if the stain goes all the way through to the floor. If the stains are deep they may re-appear as the carpet dries. This is caused by wicking.

Another way to treat stains is use wicking to your advantage. No machine needed. Lightly spray the stain with the solution and work it into the fibers with your gloved fingers. Let it sit a few minutes. Then take an old clean - white - towel or rag, fold it and lay it over the stain. Finish by placing a weight on the top of the towel and leave it for a little while. Then check and refold the towel if only a few layers are wet, placing the dry side down and replace the weight. If the towel is wet all the way through, swap it out with an new dry one. Step two is repeat with a little pain water, and blot with a weighted towel again.

Sometimes it can take several tries. Patience is the key. Resist the - if a little is good more is better trap. Again, you don't want to drive the stain deeper. You're better off to let the carpet dry and hit it again some time later. Resist scrubbing with a stiff bristle brush. You don't want to fray the fibers.

Some of the enzyme treatments will have a dwell time where you let it sit long enough to break down the waste. Read the label. Best place to get these pre-treatments is a janitorial supply store. Pet stores carry them too, but many of these are heavily perfumed. Note that urine that's been in a fabric can discolor the fibers.

One other trick is to get an estimate from a carpet cleaning company. Might not be too expensive.
