Davis County Utah Diesel Emissions

I went to register my (new to me) 2000 Tiffin Allegro Bus with a diesel 300 hp cat and was told I had to have emissions....
It runs great, 60,000 miles....
Does not smoke, I have never seen any exhaust...

Do you guys have any concerns about me passing emissions and if so, do you have any advice that would help me pass??

I have no check engine light on and I am really hoping that this is not a big deal...

I don't think you will have any problems if the engine is running good and there is no signs of smoke at the tailpipe (some black smoke on acceleration is normal/acceptable). You only need to pass emissions for the "year" of the Coach - and in 2000 there wasn't much emissions stuff on the engine. 2004 was the beginning of the emissions junk.

Its probably just an opacity test. They will snap the throttle open and measure the smoke. Unless it has a tuner that produces a lot of unburnt fuel it should easily pass.

Thank you

The idea of investing in this motorhome and then being told I cannot use it had me up last night doing research and not finding much.
