Dayton D510S Tires

Hey everybody,
Looking to put new Rear tires on my 43' Fleetwood Revolution. I am still running factory tires that are 5 yrs old. Just starting to worry about them and the heat of the roads coming up this summer. Of course I would prefer Michelin or Goodyear, but I just can't make my mind tell my hand to sign a check for $5700 for six Michelins or $4900 for 6 Goodyear's. What is your opinion on Dayton D510S tires??? Six Dayton's rolling down the road are only $2400!!!! How is their Ride smoothness, wear, , etc???

You know, 5 years really isn't "old" for an RV tire. As long as your tires don't exhibit any signs of unusual wear or damage, I'd just keep running them a few more years. That'll give you time to save up for whatever tires you really want.


That said, I've never even heard of Dayton D510S tires, so I can't really comment on their ride or performance.

They are made by Bridgestone.

I wouldn't change tires at 5 years either, but that's a personal choice.

Bridgestone also makes the Firestone and Dayton brands. Daytons are commercial duty (truck) tires and I see no reason they would not be fine as long as you are talking the right size and load range for your coach.

You might also consider Firestone, Continental, Toyo, Yokohoma, Hankook, BF Goodrich (a Michelin brand) and Cooper if they have products in your size range. All excellent brands with a solid track record.
