Dead Awning !

2013 Winnebago Adventurer 32H. Dometic Power Patio Awning died in the extended position. Followed manual's instruction to manually get it in. My question is has anyone ever changed your awning motor on your awning ? I can only imagine what a dealer will charge !!! I think i need to fully extend it to get the model number also. [Mod Edit]

Yes, I replaced my motor and it is very "doable". Check out the Youtube videos and you will see it's like any 1 hour project.....it takes you 2 hours to do it the first time.

After I changed mine, I wish I would of had Line of Dometic awning RV's waiting .....easy...but as far as the awning number, this one is a 9100...tag was on awning flap, and in the build sheet....Have you tried connecting 12 volts directly to the plug in in the awning arm?
