Deadbolt malfunction

The deadbolt in my 2003 Class A Newmar Dutch Star stopped working and was in the locked position. The cylinder would turn with the key movement but it wouldn't grab to open so I had to bore out a hole to gain access. I called a locksmith out and then another and both were bewildered at the lock and that when I realized this must be a special order?

Anyone have any recommendations on where I can buy this lock and replace it myself or if it's a challenging job I may have to take it somewhere. I called my local RV repair place and they dont do it either. Click image for larger version

Any locksmith worth his salt knows how to fix that lock. Take the pieces to a real locksmith and he will fix it. Mine broke on me 4 months and I took it to a LS who fixed it, then I took it and reinstalled it. You can pay him or her to reinstall it after its fixed too. Short of that, just call Newmar.

Yes that's the next step. The first 2 apparently just got scared off because of the bolt and didn't want to take on the project.

I've since then grabbed all the pieces and it seems like a straight forward replacement after I get it back. I'll update when completed
