Delaminating windshield

We have a large diesel motorhome with a very large windshield. We've just had it replaced for the third time due to damage occurring during long trips, but this time I noticed a spot of delamination at the bottom of the windshield and I had the installers stop the installation process until I can find out if that's likely to spread. Right now it's only a few square inches, but if it's likely to spread much, I don't want to sign off on this windshield.

If the glas is delam than insist on original factory replacement, or at minimum better brand, some insurance providers may use sources not to be of good quality in the aftermarket.

If it is from manufacturer then call them with photos, they need to be aware.

If it is the body near the window then seals are not good, a whole different thing to worry about.

The Windshield is considered part of the safety restraint system like air bags or seat belts.

I would not accept a defective one.

What type of damage...road rocks or cracks?

If cracks without rocks then twist from leveling or odd stresses coukd be issue to discuss with builder unless no longer in buisness
