Went ahead and put water back in the Crown Royale last night. Added some water freshener to the fresh water tank, changer the water filter under the kitchen sink, turned off all of the drain valves, then proceeded to fill up the tank. Since I used air to blow everything out last fall I had left the drain valves in the open position. Much to my dismay, when I turned the water pump on and burped all of the air out of the lines, I heard the water pump cycling every few seconds. Looked under the coach and saw a trickle of water draining from one of the drain tubes. Went into the basement and opened and shut that drain valve off and on a few times but still had the trickle.
After thinking about it for a bit, I let the water drain back out and took a plastic bottle with a long tube on it and filled it with vegetable oil. I then stuck it in the drain tube under the coach all the way past the shut off valve, gave it a good soaking shot and turned the valve to the off position for 30 minutes to let the oil soak the quarter turn valve. I guess the valve had dried up a bit over the winter.
When I filled the system again, the valve held fine so I cracked it a couple of time to spit the oil out of the low point of the system. I turned the water pump off for the night and the sinks still had full pressure left over from the night before.
Guess we are good to go now!
