There is NOTHING good about this crap. I removed mine with Xylene, WD40 and plastic blades. The Xylene will get the glue if you let it soak a bit. WD40 will do the same but takes more time.

I can say this about DS...it works. Since removing mine, the value of having it on there became obvious.

Unless I can find something similar that I can apply myself, I'm going to have DS reapplied when I have some paint work done in the near future. Options available to keep rock chips at bay appear limited. I figure either I or the coach won't be around when it needs to come off again.

Diamond Mask Mold

The bed liner sounds like a deal. Wonder if this can be a diy project.

We've never had the mask till this rig and it's in such good condition that I think the rig was stored inside. Now it's stored outside and the front is getting the full afternoon sun so I expect it to start showing it's age. Too bad too as I can't just do the spray on solution without covering up the paint job.

I had Rinoliner applied to the whole front cap. Like the look and no more rock chips.

Kind of the way I felt. I had mine removed and new DS installed. Once removed the paint was pristine except for one small area about the size of a quarter that lifted. He touched that up and although it's visible the font end overall looks like a new coach. What a difference! One other thing to consider is that the new DS product carries a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. I doubt I'll keep this coach long enough to use the warranty.

That is true...for the Diamond Shield...But not for any damage to the underlying paint if it has to be removed.

So if you sell your rig the warranty doesn't carry over to the new owner???? Well that sucks !!!

I tried many methods to remove my 3M bra. It was left on way too long, because I tried to get it off, starting about 5 years after it was installed (installed 2004) when it started cracking. So labor intensive! So over the years I would try working on it a little bit at a time. Very frustrating. But ... Thanks Diplomat Dan! Dan's advice, from a previous older post on irv2.com of "Problems with 3m bra." Finally ended my Clear Bra Removal Nightmare, by using a 3000psi Water Pressure Washer. Viewable video at:

Thanks again Dan!
