My TriMark lock failed while I was on the inside and thankfully, I was in my class C. Just opened the driver's door and was able to get out to my tools. I had to replace the lock mechanism. As I am getting a Class A, I will make sure to have tools inside the MH for this eventuality.

I guess it is just the luck of the draw we have had everything from a mini to our current Newmar and a pull trailer to a fifth wheel and have never been locked in or out of anything... until next week, now that I am bragging about it. Probably because I always carried an extra set of keys in the tow vehicle or toad.

Good reason for the emergency exit doors. Get locked in just use that exit door to get tools under coach and allow you to work inside or out as needed. (Wish we had one.)
BTW: Freightliner service got locked in my coach a few times and had to pass keys out to get door unlocked. Problem was lock did not have metal under it like called for and was moving. Least that was my understanding of what problem was.

Amazing, just dealt with this. Couldn't open, lock wouldn't lock, this will be a big help. Thanks!
