Ahhhhhh....... Twinboat you got me exactly. I was hoping for a way to override the system and accidentally found one.

So I carefully dropped the air in the tanks (not while I was underneath it!) Then raised the chassis up and dropped it. This bled the air from the suspension which is what I wanted to do because my dump valve is broken.

Nailed It and thanks for the explanation.

My coach had to have the original Atwood Levelegs replaced by the previous owner. It was replaced with a great "Equalizer two way hydraulic system".

Now he couldn't figure out how to get the air to dump so those wires aren't connected. My guess is the valve corroded shut after years of not being used (he didn't use it for years while he had a broken levelleg system).

Any advice on how to fix? My work around it a little cumbersome!!!

Anyone have a less expensive (than installing a relay) way to fix this

I would locate the dump valve associated with the leveler system. The grab a friend and a volt meter. Starting from jacks retracted, put a volt meter on the wire(s) leading to the valve. Activate the system to see if voltage goes to the valve wires. You should have just a few short seconds of voltage. If you have power, grab pictures of the valve and any labels, numbers, etc to find the replacement. It should be a plug n play swap out.
