Difference AQ Hot 450D vs 450DE

I have a 450D in my Tiffin 08 AB and a friend just bought a used 09 Beaver RV with a 450DE. I wanted to see what the differences are so that I can assist in any questions they might have with the new purchase.
Thanks for any reply

That info should all be on the AquaHot website, including manuals.

I looked online on various sites and AQ as well. The only thing I've come up with and doesn't apply is AQ450de5 has a "reporter" display in the rv.
I'm asking if anyone with a DE could tell me if there's a difference to mine. Heck for what it could all be about is the design of the AQ to fit in RV space of different manufactures. This is why I asked.

From what I noticed, the "D" is diesel powered. "E" for electric, "DE" diesel & electric, and "LP" for liquid propane gas. I think all that was in the front of my book.

I didn't know they made a model that doesn't have at least one electric heating element .
Maybe the OP can tell us if his is strictly diesel?

Mine is Diesel and electric with a engine preheat as well. I never heard of an AQ system that wasn’t both. I have looked at the manuals also. I was hoping this wasn’t a difficult answer. I just wanted to learn if there’s a difference as to help my friend with any questions when they pick up the RV.

I have the 450DE and I don't see any major differences when comparing the two manuals. In fact, the AH website makes back and forth references between the two and lists the DE as being discontinued. Whatever the difference is, I'm sure it is something minor such as the way the components are assembled in the housing, maybe the controller, etc. I'm guessing the specs and functionality are the same.
