Dinette Table Loose

Iíve got a 2005 Thor Hurricane 32R we just bought. The dinette table is very loose at the wall mount. Nothing broken, all nut/screws/etc are tight. It make no sense but I canít believe this is how it was originally. Iím looking for thoughts and suggestions how to get it right. It just wobbles like crazy at the wall hinge mount. Way too much space. Click image for larger version

I'm guessing the two metal rods that fit inside the tubes on both sides of the table is where the movement is coming from. You might try and find some plastic sleeves that will fit over the rods and into the tubing to shim it. If the table doesn't get lowered and raised a lot. Wrap both of those rods with one or two wraps of Gorilla tape so they fit tighter in the tubes.

My guess is different from Dutch Star Don's. Ours is a similar, maybe the exact same, set up as the OP's. But, ours is tight with no table movement. What I'm guessing is that the top bracket (mounted to the wall), may have been installed a little too high on the wall. Thinking that if it were a teensy bit lower, that the table's bracket might fit more tightly when it was leveraged into it.

Mine looks like the same mount as yours and mine was also very wobbly. I found the u-shaped channel that is attached to the table was bent giving the channel a larger opening. I bent it back by tapping it with a hammer and now my table is tight.

After expanding your pic, I can see a pretty good air gap between the furthest support tube and the receptacle mounted to the underside of the table. I'd start there with some heavy-duty plastic tape wrapped around both of the tube ends.
