Smile Dish towel rack on Winnebago Forza is broken

Can someone help me figure out how to fix the dish cloth rack underneath the burner nob panel on my 2015 Forza? We just need to replace the screw but can’t figure out how to access it. I’m a newbie and a healthcare worker. I know this isn’t a huge deal but I live FT in the RV and it’s just the little things that will get ya!

First off, welcome to the forum and thank you for your service!

We have a '15 Forza 34T. Which model do you have? Like the other poster noted, a picture may help. Also check out the Winnebago section under "owners" to see if anyone else has posted about it.

Broken dish towel rack

First, thank you for the warm welcome! I had no idea how to add a pic but I hope I figured it out! We have a 2015 Forza 38R, and we love it. We have had a big problem with the “leather” which has been disappointing but other than that it has been fab! And thank you for your kindness re: service. I’m very blessed to love what I do. We will beat this virus, and we will be stronger for it!

Maybe try removing the drawer below the rack and access the screw from there?

dish towel holder

Just looked at mine. 2016 38R Forza. the screw is between the bottom of the stove and the horizontal wood cross brace. i's assume you would pull off the stove counter covers and raise the stove top like you would clean underneath, probably hinged at backside. hope this helps some.

If it was mine, I'd remove the metal burner grates and raise the top for cleaning and remove as much metal as I could. Then I'd look to see if the stove top was fastened in the opening with 2 or more screws, likely on the sides.

Remove those screws and slide the cooktop out so I could get at the screw that holds the towel rack. Replace or tighten the screw and reverse the procedure.

I thinks it's supposed to be screwed to the bottom of the cook top unit. Remove the burners and top and you might find screws to remove and slide the top forward several inches and fix the rack.

Have to lift the cooktop up. Looks easy to me.
