I found the pic. If you replace it - you will be working blind. Disconnect all power, and label well each wire as it is removed. You will be working in the blind, and the new BIMs do not match the terminal spacing of the old one, so you need to be methodical, patient and creative.

Hey waterman,

Ok I see what your saying. But in that BIM doc you attached it shows a small black box called Battery Isolation Manager on it. I don't see a box like that in my PDF electrical drawing that I attached earlier. But I do agree it says on the outside of that panel box "battery mode relays inside!"

Next, I have no intention of replacing this or anything else. Before we went FT I completely redid my whole battery bay, new 6volt batts, got rid of my horrible OEM converter, upgraded to a Progressive Dynamics 9200, 4 stage smart charger, Tri-Metric digital monitor etc, etc.

twinboat actually helped me a lot in setting this up. He was a great help. My charging system and batt bay are perfect now. I'm not changing anything.

It was just when I was reading that other thread (see post #1) that it dawned on me that all the work that I've done on my coach over the years, I've never seen a BCC. So now I understand. My BCC is actually a BIM rated for 225amps in that front compartment.

Have I got that all right?

You got it - and it is good to know just in case... Usually no need to replace it unless you switch to lithium batteries. Then you need a Li-BIM 225. The old one which is for Lead acid/AGM appears to be almost bulletproof.
