3/8" drive , inch lb.
1/2" drive , 150 ft.lb.
3/4" drive , 600 ft.lb. to re-torque the lug nuts after your DIY road side tire change.

I carry many of the same things the rest of you folks do, sans the really big things. Last year was our first long trip in the MH and in our haste to get started I forgot to take the jumper cables and battery pack/jump starter. Wouldn't you know it, there were two folks I could have helped if I had taken them. They're in there now so I don't forget them this year. One never knows.

I carry:
1 gal. Antifreeze, 1 qt. each of engine oil, generator oil, power steering fluid, trans. fluid, and brake fluid.
Mounted spare tire in mount under chassis. With the necessary tools to change it.
Serpentine engine belt.
Spare switches for the "Auto Park" brake system and the tools to change them.
Fuses and an electrical wire repair kit.
Water pump for the fresh water system.
Fuel pump and a spare fuel filter for the generator.
Plastic wire ties in various sizes.
Gorilla Tape.
Cans of Brake cleaner, WD-40, penetrating oil, silicone spray, window cleaner and 3 in 1 oil.
Coffee can full of Oil-Dri to clean a spot if I spilled something performing a service.
A tool kit (144 piece) and a tool box with odds and ends I might need for a small job. Battery powered drill and several flashlights.

Several spare door keys all on tags which are marked MH. At least 10. This way my wife, son, daughter and any other responsible person in our group has one. Nothing is any worse than walking a mile back to home base and realizing you can't get in! Light and easy to carry so you don't have to carry a heavy ring of keys all the time. I put an initial on each tag so I can be sure I get the keys back after an outing.

I carry a basic set of tools and small parts, like wire, fuses, nuts, bolts, screws and latches. If I have an issue with something like a latch, I buy spares so that I'm prepared. As an example, the water pump latching pump switch went bad in min the first year. It's a common part that many motor homes use. I bought a spare in case I need it and can share it with others if they need one.

The largest item I ever carried as a spare was a new alternator for my 2005 Diplomat. In 2012, we made a coast to coast trip across the US when the Monaco was 7 years old. I had added a residential refer and was placing extra demand on my alternator, that had never been replaced. I bought a new Leece Nevile for $300.00 and never needed it. Probably the only large item that I didn't need to buy. It's still in my shed.
