Our third coach with a water tank. No problem with water from coach tank. We have a filter for the house and another fine filter for separate drinking faucet. No problem either way. I do drain and fill the water tank about three times each year. Our old coach didn't have any filters so we used the external type for all water. Same procedures and never any problems. This works for us but we had a clean tank to begin with.

Coach has a water filter which we maintain, as well we cook with it so to include making coffee so my answer to the OP would be yes, of course we do (drink the water).

Yes, we use the water tank water for everything, drinking cooking. Filtered if we are not at home when we fill the tank. Never had any problems or complaints.
