Does a 2002 Freightliner chassis have a trailer brake pigtail?

My 2002 Discovery has had the 7 way trailer plug knocked off and I'm installing a new one, but I can't find the pigtail under the dash for the trailer brake controller. Any help?

The chassis didn't come with one, but Fleetwood may have included that in their body wiring. Finding it may be a challenge, though. The factory said my '04 American Tradition had a pigtail, but I never could find it and ended up running new wires.

Suggest you call Fleetwood (Rev Group) Customer Service and ask if there is one on your coach and what it looks like (mine supposedly had a 4-pin Molex plug on the end and a blue brake wire). Have your Fin or chassis VIN handy when you call.

Call Freightliner at 800-385-4357 with the VIN # in hand - they will want the last 6 digits of it. They can tell you what was wired in when they delivered it to Fleetwood.

I can't guaranty anything here but, our previous coach, a '99 Fleetwood Bounder 34V with the F-53 Chassis and V-10. It had the Trailer harness all coiled up way under the dash. Never really needed it but, found it. Our present coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD on a Freightliner Evolution Chassis with the CAT 330HP, also has one, also coiled up way under the dash. Two different chassis and, coach builders and a few years apart but, both had it. Doesn't mean yours has it, just means it's possible that it's there but, kind-a hidden away.

I've been advised to unbolt the dash and flip it down to gain access to the brake controller wiring bundle, but my dash is bolted, not screwed and I cam't get at the nuts on the backside to unbolt it, much less to rebolt it!

Found a long bundled cable pair under the dash. Heavy black wire and light white wire, unlabeled. Could this be the power cable from the controller to the trailer brakes and the brake light cable to the brake controller? Also found bundled at the rear on the frame behind the engine, about fifteen foot long bundled cable with a female earphone type jack. Wire was labeled WERV225. Could this be for a rear view camera on a towed vehicle?

the back cable is a second input to the backup monitor. The front cable pair is a hot and ground.

Now I've got to figure a way to run a three conductor cable from the wall by the refrigerator to the wall by the copilot seat. AND a way to run power to the entry grab handle.
