Doghouse Stuck!
Hey to all -
My Doghouse or whatever the best term for the engine cover on my 16' Thor Outlaw 38RE is stuck. I removed the 4 bolts and for the life of me can't get it off. Am I missing something? Thankfully nothing wrong just wanting to check everything out.
Thanks in advance!

If your doghouse has nothing else but 4 bolts, then it’s just dirt and heat that’s got it glued in place.
Keep prying.
When you replace it, maybe just a bead of silicone to keep it from sticking again.

Probably sit and give progressively harder heel stomps or standing rear kicks ....Or.... If you can get a bar and wood as fulcrum without damaging seal or covering.

Are you sure there are only 4 bolts? I would go on the Owners Forum Corner Thor section and ask other owners. Our Tiffin has 8 screws.

I completely agree; this is not the time to find a bigger hammer so-to-speak.

Are you shure there are only 4 bolts
My 2019 Thor Axis has four bolts around the floor but another 4-6 bolts under the dash through the top lip of the doghouse.

So there is hatch on dog house.. so one might say.. upper part and lower part.. the upper part is held on by hinges .. and many times just remove pins..
But the lower part.. if yours is made that way.. is held down with hidden screws..and glue.. the great members here posted.. that you need to use a magnet all around the bottom and you will find some.. even under where dog house meets dash.. use magnet.. this was not my idea.. pasted along here.. and some use heat gun to soften glues or caulk that holds it down.. use all safety precautions..
Good luck and keep us posted

Update - Its off!
I really just used a scraper all the way around and finally came off. Just to confirm there's only 4 bolts.
Thanks for the guidance!
