I have just in last few weeks replaced my old Dometic A&E weather pro 20' awning with a new Dometic A&E weather pro 20' awning and new power source and remote. Looks and works great. Now I am going to add the Dometic A&E Oasis 56" power door awning to replace this old manual pull down door awning. the hardware is rusting and it looks bad.

Couple of questions. Can I power the new door awning from the same Dometic A&E power source that operates the 20" side awning and use the same remote that I think has an extra button on it. Also the hardware on my 20" awning is a medium grey color. The color choices for the hardware on the Dometic A&E door awning has a selection that includes "Satin", would that be the same grey color on my 20" Dometic A&E awning. They don't show a color sample.

Yes the same controller will power the door awning. Do you still have the invoice or estimate as to what hardware was used for the patio awning. There are some characters for the color in the model number.

I did confirm that the hardware "satin" color is the the same grey color as the hardware on my 20' awning.
