Dometic Rm 1350 Fridge

I have a 2014 FleetWood Bounder, when plugged into to shore power the fridge and ice maker work great ,when I change the fridge over to gas the ice maker stops making ice but the fridge still works fine ,any ideas what could be the issue

When you change over to gas, do you shut off shore power ?

The ice maker needs 120 volts from shore power or inverter power to operate. The fridge does not.

Thanks I will look into that a little more I didn’t think it could be a power issue considering the fridge lights and panel were on .

The lights and controls are 12 vdc, but the electric heating element and ice maker (I'll take twinboat's word on this) are 110 vac.

Welcome to the forum. Is this a new to you RV??

The refer ice maker does require 110 volts as mentioned and when not on shoreline or generator that come from an inverter is your rv has one.

Easy fix is to get a small inverter and plug the ice maker into it.

Normally the 120 AC plugin for the refrigerator is not wired to your inverter. So no ice maker when on battery power, even if inverter is on.

You could buy a small inverter, wire it into 12v and plug ice maker into it.
