Dometic Thermostat Programming?

Has anyone figured out how or found some good instructions on how to program a Dometic digital thermostat? I can't adjust the temp up or down unless I first press Program each time and for the life of me I can't figure out what Program does. There's no model number on it anywhere but I think it's a model 3314080 in white, at least that looks like the same one on Amazon.
In the Dometic-operating_manual_64755, it says:
"The installer of your system will set the required system DIP switches to the ON position. In order for the CCC 2 thermostat to recognize the system zones, type of units installed and their options, a system reset must be done."
I don't know what it was set for or how to change it but I think it's probably set wrong!

Is this a new system, were the AC's changed??

The dip switches are on the control module on the AC itself, you have to remove the cover to see them. There are dip switches for a number of things (zone, heat pump, furnace to name a few).
In 2021 I changed both my AC to the newest model. I just copied how the dip switches were on each unit.

So if you have multiple units you have to have a zone of each and make sure that if you have a furnace it is associated with the correct zone.

From the PN you listed you have the Comfort Control Center 2 Thermostat. The op manual is not very clear on a few things. First to wake up the thermostat you must press any button. This just wakes it up but the command is not executed. to adjust the set point after wake up select the zone and mode and then just press the up/down arrows till you get what you want. In your case it sounds like you are in "PROG" mode which is a auto setting feature based on time. to turn off the "PROG" mode after waking uo the thermostat code down the PROGRAM button 3-5 seconds until the "PROG 1" (or 2) indicator turns off. once that is off the Tstat should work as expected.

Link to manual.

The "Program" button has nothing to do with the Dip switches on the zone controller.

Check the display on the thermostat. If either Prog1 or Prog2 is displayed, follow Steve-W's advice to get out of Program mode.

I couldn't find a digital copy of "Dometic-operating_manual_64755" online, so not sure what manual you are referencing.

Mine is set for 1 zone with 2 programs. Holding down the Program button for a few seconds makes the Program indication start to flash on and off but the directions don't say what that means.

Manual_64755 is the Dometic COMFORT CONTROL CENTER 2 THERMOSTAT
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, closest directions I could find for the 3314080 thermostat.

I had the top cover off to look at the unit but didn't see any switches so they must be under more covers?
This Dutch Star was updated recently with 2 newish heat pumps and 2 of those troublesome digital thermostats but they aren't linked and each one only has 1 zone with 2 programs plus a 3rd setting they default to that is not a program. Do you know why it needs 2 zones?
One seems to work normally and I can switch the mode to HP or Cool and adjust the temp up or down like I would expect to be able to do.
However the other one won't let me change the temp unless I first press Program and it stays working for a few seconds then defaults back to not working unless I press Program again!

There is a small cover over the control board, passenger side.

You should have a temp sensor separate from the thermostat. If so you need two zones the reads the temp in each zone.

On my rig they run a cable (looks like a phone cable wired different). Mine goes from the thermostat to the rear AC and then another cable goes to the front AC. These all communicate with the thermostat.

Do you have a wiring diagram for your coach, it should have the required wiring for the AC including the communication cables.

As the manual reads and my personal experience the "PROG" indicator should turn off when the following is done.

To cancel the program operation, press and hold the PROGRAM button for 3 seconds. The zone will be restored to normal operation.

If that is not working I would proceed by doing a reset per the op manual, the procedure is copied & pasted below.

To do a system reset:
Make sure the CCC 2 thermostat is in the OFF mode.
Simultaneously press the MODE and ZONE buttons. The LCD will display “IniT” and all available zones.
Release the MODE and ZONE buttons.
Press the ON/OFF button to exit system set up.

There is a separate temp sensor that seems to work but it is just across the hall from the thermostat and only 1 zone.
There is no diagram or anything for the upgraded heat pumps that I could find.
