2004 Southwind power awning doesn't open. i makes a faint click sound from the power box, tried lubricating all pivots, checked fuses. Not sure how to check wind sensor. Everything looks fine but the awning doesn' even budge from any switch.

What kind of voltage do you have going into and out of the controller?

Have you attempted to open it with the wind sensor deactivated?

Get out your step ladder and listen at the leading end of the roller tube where the front arm attaches. If you hear a faint click there too, the.motors sized up. A new motor is about $400. I took mine apart and got it freed up, it's working again now.
