Door awning out limit

I've been having some trouble with my carefree marquis door awning.

I've got everything dialed in now except the out limit.
The motor just keeps going as long as I hold the switch to "extend".
It goes all the way open, arms lock, fabric gets loose motor keeps going and going and going.

I was able to adjust the in limit just perfect without a problem.

Is it possible to go "too far"?
If you do is there a way to get it back?

Or do I just don't do that and let go of the switch when it's all the way out?

See 'Setting the Motor Limits' of the service manual located here: https://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/d...ice-Manual.pdf

If you see no change you may have to fix the limit switch (or replace the motor if it is not serviceable).

This may also be a helpful reference: https://www.tesstools.net/Carefree_R..._p/r001750.htm

I don't know if this is a part number for your unit but the instructions/description on this website my prove helpful.

Good luck!

"Up to 120 turns"??? Wow! I guess I didn't turn it too far then!

I did break down and adjust the white screw, that's the in limit on my awning, and the important one. I'll keep trying then. Thanks
