Smile Door hinges

Hi, has anyone have any clues on how to replace the hinges on a 1999 discovery dp mh, any ideas would be appreciated, thx

If they are the same as a 97 Discovery I seem to remember the door part wasn't hard. I think you need to remove a interior trim piece to get to see the door jam screws. Maybe more will come to me. Could you take a picture of the hing maybe? This could possibly jog my memory.

Thx Pete, I will be getting the coach next week, so for now I can't send you a pic, but I need to replace them or have them replace at a center, will keep u posted

From what I remember hearing, the screws go into a threaded backing plate. You have to keep a screw in the backing plate or it will fall down into the door or frame. If you go to the DOAI website and do a search, I think you'll find what you're looking for.
